We're On TV Again!

Here's the rest of the story about our Winter 2011 program that focused on marine careers.  In this video, we go to the Hawai'i Institute of Marine Biology in Kane'ohe Bay.  We also hear from NOAA Deputy Administrator, Lisa Croft. She explains why it's important to have local students pursue green careers in Hawai'i. Mahalo to Outside Hawai'i on OC16 for making and airing this story. We hope you like it!

HGCI on TV!

Here's our first official video!  Thanks to the folks at Outside Hawai'i on OC16, we not only have a short story, but we're also on television.  This is the first of two stories about our Winter 2011 session that focused on marine careers. You'll see we weren't just in the water, though . . . because the ocean is impacted by what we do on land. Everything is connected.

HGCI on the radio!

The Office of Hawaiian Affairs invited Pauline Sato and Aulii Silva to promote the Hawai'i Green Collar Institute and the upcoming Spring 2012 course for college students, "Exploring Green Careers in Hawai'i". They were interviewed by the charming Billy V for the Na 'Oiwi 'Olino radio show on KINE 105 FM to be aired on February 5. Please tune in!
