Hawai'i Green Collar Institute Workshop on Art & Aquaponics for Leeward O'ahu Teachers
September 6, 20, & November 15, 2014
Leeward O‘ahu teachers, here is another opportunity for
training in aquaponics, this time infused with art to support STEAM (science,
technology, engineering, art, and math) education. This HGCI workshop for
teachers will include site visits to aquaponics operations both large and small
and includes a build-your-own table top aquaponics system. A final and exciting
part of the workshop is to participate in an Art & Aquaponics Symposium
open to other teachers, students, and the public to share what you have learned
about incorporating aquaponics and art in your classroom. Mahalo to the Na Lei
Aloha Foundation and other program partners for supporting this workshop.
